A “GREENER” Air Ambulance Company

In an effort to keep overhead at a minimum in the super competitive air ambulance industry Global Jetcare has made the decision to go “green”. GJC, based in “The Sushine State”, has reduced energy use by switching to all fluorescent lighting throughout its offices and hanger. Company paperwork has been converted to electronic formats and a recycling program has been created for the paper products it does use also. Computers have been programmed to sleep and hibernate when inactive and most appliances have been replaced with Energy Star rated equipment. GJC refills printer cartridges instead of adding them to the local landfill, and company employees have started carpooling to and from work. All of these small changes will increase company growth and the savings will be able to be passed on to our loyal customers. GJC is commited in making a change not only in the aeromedical tansport world but in promoting a greener work enviorment.

Global Jetcare Works with Children’s Hope

Global Jetcare; working with Medjet Assist, Childrens Hope, and the Cincinatti Childrens Hospital, recently transported a 1 year old child from Cincinatti, Ohio to Abidjan in The Republic of Cotê d’Ivoire. The child, his Father, and our Registered Nurse and Respiratory Therapist made the 6000 mile, 13 hour trip in a Learjet 36A (N44EV). Upon arrival in Abidjan the child was reunited with the rest of his family including his Mother and Grandmother. Global Jetcare specializes in arranging international air ambulance transportation and can make all arangements, including ground ambulances, flight arrangements, and international permits, to transport any patient from bedside to bedside anywhere in the world.
